Our Gourmet foods feed our families and yours and now we are looking to branch out and share the experience with all of our E-Commerce shoppers! Our newly hired E-Commerce Managerwill create an e-commerce presence, processes, and sales of our gourmet products. In this role, the individual will be tasked with assessing and analyzing key marketing concepts and processes for building sales relationships with Amazon and Shopify for our product sales, with integration through our company website/orders. This individual must have in-depth working knowledge of placement and management with regards to E-Commerce channels on Amazon and Shopify.
This position will be located in our Melville Headquarters and in our Port Jefferson Station store.
To ensure success as an E-Commerce Manager, this individual must be adept at data mining, business intelligence, report writing, and process optimization. This position requires in depth knowledge of sales funneling, sales_ strategies on Amazon and Shopify,_ and familiar with digital marketing concepts. This position requires a self-starter with the accomplished ability to work autonomously with little guidance.
Responsibilities
- Working directly with the Director of E-Commerce & Merchandising, determine the company's e-commerce goals and create a plan of execution
- Create alliances and networks with Amazon and Shopify to place our products within these channels for online sales
- Will consistently monitor and analyze Uncle Giuseppe’s online presence and sales within our channels
- Will research sales standards and expectations within the E-Commerce space, ensuring that we are exceeding our online presence and sales goals.
- Will work with the Director of E-Commerce & Merchandising to enhance and transform the company's e-commerce approach and sales
- Create reports to highlight sales growth through E-Comm networks
- Will work with respective stores to fulfill orders, packaging, mechanics of shipping and pricing
- Stay abreast of any market changes and trends within the E-Comm community and channel resources
- Additional job duties and functions as assigned
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field
- Must have prior experience working at or with Amazon/Shopify
- Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience working within the E-Commerce business, with in depth experience working within the Amazon/Shopify networks
- Advanced knowledge of how online orders work, how to create a flow of sales through chose platforms and how to measure its success
- Knowledge of the Ecommerce business including online orders, holiday procedures, shopping, packing and preparing for customers
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite and advanced knowledge working within the E-Comm digital sales industry. Must be proficient with tracking and reporting results using computer programs
- Must be self driven, with a high degree of critical thinking abilities
- Detail oriented with excellent communication skills
