Reporting directly to the General Manager (and co-owner), this position is responsible for planning, configuring, and executing all digital marketing programs for the combined businesses, with an emphasis on supporting the growth of our online business. As we mainly use Shopify and Klaviyo in these areas, experience with these (and/or similar) platforms is needed. Self-motivated, self-directed, and being able to work independently, with regular engagement and support from General Manager and core team, are important and expected qualities for this role.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Identify, organize, execute all digital strategies to align with our business goals and priorities
- Take responsibility for the planning and configuration of Shopify and Klaviyo to successfully support all digital strategies
- Setup and manage all digital ad campaigns, leveraging analytics and A/B testing
- Manage all social media accounts, schedules, and content
- Identify areas and opportunities for process improvement
- Assist with website improvements, including data configuration, setup, and maintenance/monitoring
- Assist with product setup and product management to support online sales and marketing.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience with digital marketing
- Relevant experience with Shopify, Klaviyo and/or other, similar, platforms
- Relevant experience independently organizing and executing digital campaigns
- Relevant experience using and managing social media accounts
- Team Attitude and a flexible approach
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail/accuracy and an appreciation for high quality standards
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong copywriting skills
- A positive attitude
- Comfort level working in a small (growing) work environment
- Solid understanding of Excel, Word
Preferences:
- An interest and appreciation for the products we sell and the customers we serve. We don’t need to hire an expert, passionate angler for this role, but having an interest and understanding of what we do and who are customers are, is preferred.
- Functional understanding/experience managing digital assets
- Relevant experience managing Google Ad campaigns
- Familiarity with HTML5 for basic website editing and customization
