$60,000 to $70,000 starting salary
Monday to Friday on site 8 am to 5 pm

Junior Software Developer Summary:
The Junior Software Developer is responsible for assisting in developing, testing, and troubleshooting software.
Junior Software Developer Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Assisting the development manager with all aspects of software design and coding.

Attending and contributing to company development meetings.

Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills.

Writing and maintaining code.

Working on minor bug fixes.

Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.

Responding to requests from the development team.

Gathering information from consumers about program functionality.

Writing reports.
-
Conducting development tests.
-
All other duties and tasks as assigned.

Maintain clean and safe workspace, while achieving productivity and quality standards.
Junior Software Developer Required Education, Knowledge & Skills:

Strong business acumen where deadlines are adhered to and met.

Knowledge of basic coding languages including C++, .NET windows server, SSRS (SQL Server Report Builder).

Basic programming experience.

Knowledge of databases and operating systems.

Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.

Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

Detail-oriented.

Junior Software Developer Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:
Light to Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, printers, light traffic, and manufacturing noise from adjoining wall plant)
Ability to sit at a computer station for an extended period of time.
Manufacturing work environment that has frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, noise intensity level, proximity to moving mechanical parts and exposure to weather.
