Overview:

BDI is looking to work with a Marketing Contractor who will provide project-based support for the BDI Marketing department. The ideal candidate should have strong organization skills, marketing knowledge, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Hubspot, and Canva, with preferred experience in the fundraising industry.

Examples of Duties:

Gathers photos, assets, and information from BDI’s teams and systems to upload into a central place that can be easily accessed by the BDI Marketing team.
Creates simple social media posts when needed (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Group, TikTok)
Coordinates booking and scheduling guests and cross-bloggers on BDI’s content (this includes clients, partners, staff) for BDI Podcasts, Webinars, Emails, Social Media. I.e. contacting guests, booking them, giving them day-of info, booking rehearsal, etc.
Posts content on the social accounts of select BDI leaders and engages with followers on their behalf.
Orders supplies and ships marketing materials for New Business meetings and Marketing events.
Submits industry award applications and event applications, including tracking important deadlines for these events.
Books BDI PR and content on major industry publications such as the Nonprofit Times, Nonprofit Pro, AMA, etc.
Input data into Hubspot when needed.
Helps with other special project tasks sent by the BDI Marketing Team.

Skill Requirements:

Basic Marketing knowledge required
Basic industry knowledge preferred
Strong time management, meets deadlines, high communication skills required
Preferred experience in Microsoft suite, Hubspot, and Canva

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
