Position Details:
The CMO will report to the CEO and serve as a key member of the executive team, overseeing the marketing strategy and execution for the company. This is an opportunity to largely define the future of this marketplace by creating a purposeful and distinct brand position & voice. In this role, you will lead customer engagement, own the customer journey, and define our marketing strategies to execute and scale our marketing capabilities.
The CMO will lead the charge to drive new customer acquisition, build brand awareness, and drive traffic to the company's retail platforms, including ecoATM kiosks and company websites. This leader will oversee all marketing functions such as: retail channel marketing, marketing operations including digital and traditional awareness and promotional activities, marketing performance analytics, pricing across platforms including trade-in and sales, and product marketing. This role will also facilitate seamless omnichannel consumer engagement across digital and physical in ecoATM's dynamic platform ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the marketing strategy and all related activities for the brands (ecoATM and Gazelle) to increase brand awareness, generate demand, and deliver top- line revenue growth, retention, loyalty, customer lifetime value (LTV)
- Conceive, develop, and execute fully integrated consumer marketing and promotional campaigns that deliver new customers with forecasted ROI analysis
- Bridge Brand efforts across consumer and client touch points, working closely with internal team (analytics, digital, communications, digital product development) and external partners (client/retailers)
- Lead with a customer-first mindset by developing a data-informed position on current and future customer base, while implementing strategies that drive consumer demand and revenue growth
- Leverage data to develop insight-based recommendations to deliver the most effective targeted campaigns and brand experiences
- Direct, monitor, and evaluate external marketing agencies with a focus on driving agency productivity and efficiency
- Create new and innovative ways to develop ongoing relationships with consumers utilizing data from CRM platforms
- Partner with Product Development and the Business Analytics teams to ensure customer acquisition plans are the most effective and deliver the highest ROI
- Build and establish meaningful KPIs for success on all marketing initiatives in order to cultivate a goal driven marketing team culture
- Exercise budget authority and show a return on investment. Prioritize marketing needs and allocate resources as appropriate
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or relevant field; Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive consumer marketing experience with a concentration in consumer services, electronics or e-commerce in multicultural markets
- 5 + years of experience in an Executive Marketing Leadership position
- 15+ years experience across insights/analytics, deriving marketing strategy from comprehensive business plans, budgeting/ROI quantification, cross-functional partnership building, creative briefs, segmentation & targeting, storytelling, and senior leadership presentations
- Experience working in startup and large-scale environments with demonstrated success in building diverse, high-performing teams
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Expert knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and Google Adwords
- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques
- Strategic and agile mindset with the ability to execute short- and long-term objectives and plans
- Well-versed in emerging mobile device trends or consumer electronics
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Consumer-Oriented with ability to drive engagement from sales conversations and loyalty to advocacy
- Strong commercial awareness and deep experience in retail-friendly, digital marketing tactics
- Ability to work closely with executives to elicit, refine, and communicate a clear vision
- Substantial knowledge of other players in the consumer electronics industry
- Knowledge of retailers in the mass grocery, and mall channels, is a significant plus
- Substantial knowledge of other players in the consumer electronics industry
- Willingness to dive in and roll up their sleeves alongside their teams to operate in a dynamic environment where every leader has a hands-on approach
Location:
Remote within the United States
Salary Range:
$325,000 - $365,000 base
- This position is also eligible for short-term and long-term bonus incentives based on individual and company performance.
