ecoAmerica is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that supports institutional partners to move America toward climate solutions by building a critical mass of institutional leadership, public support, political will, and collective action. We develop and manage programs for the health, faith and local community sectors, empowering networks of trusted leaders and institutions to lead by example, engage stakeholders in climate action, and activate support for just, equitable, and ambitious climate solutions. POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Marketing Manager reports directly to the Marketing VP, collaborates across departments, and provides a wide variety of programmatic support to the Program Team. The Program Marketing Manager is a resourceful, creative, and collaborative self-starter who is passionate about ecoAmerica’s mission, a strong communicator and project manager, and highly proficient with a range of professional workflow and online applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Partnerships Project Management (45% of time)
Program Communications (40% of time)
Network Department Operations Management (15% of time)
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills Required:
· College degree preferred and 2-4 years of related work experience.
· Superior project management skills. Organized, detail-oriented, a proactive self-starter and problem-solver. Able to plan and execute details and manage multiple priorities to ensure accuracy and high-caliber, efficient implementation in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to work simultaneously with multiple staff in different time zones.
· Superior writing, communications, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Outgoing and polished demeanor along with a strong professional presence. Must be able to communicate professionally with many levels of a national nonprofit organization.
· Understanding of and passion for ecoAmerica’s mission and climate/sustainability and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
· Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Google Suite, WordPress, MacOS, and social media abilities. Proficiency with Canva, Bit.ly, video editing, Mobilize, and Salesforce a plus. Tech-savvy.
· An eye for design/creativity; ability to work effectively within basic design templates.
ADA SPECIFICATIONS
This position is largely sedentary in nature however one must possess the ability to speak, hear, and write as well as the ability to use a computer and related software programs, and lift up to 20 lbs. Local and/or national travel periodically required.
