Naturtint, a well-established, better-for-you line of hair color and hair care products, is an industry-leading brand distributed by ITR.
Headquartered in Albany, NY, the ITR team is now expanding operations to emphasize digital markets and new sales channels while building a team of skilled professionals in NE Ohio who stand behind the products represented and can scale digital reach and sales. The new 24,000-square-foot facility in Chesterland, OH, will be a hub to further ITR's mission to utilize current media, tools, and technology to elevate the level of service and increase access to the brands represented. Job Description
ITR is looking for a marketing specialist to oversee the development and implementation of digital and print marketing strategies. They will work with the ITR team to facilitate new customer growth and reach within our e-commerce and retail channels.
This is a full-time position, and candidates must live within commuting distance of Chesterland, OH. They should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that is growing, driven, and detail-oriented. They must take the time to understand the products and the customer demographics who use them. They will exercise good judgment in various situations and must be organized and adaptable to shifting company needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectives
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences
- Work with the marketing team to manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including print advertising, digital marketing, and email marketing
- Oversee the development and maintenance of the company website using Shopify
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials
- Manage product launches and promotions, including creating compelling copywriting for marketing materials
- Monitor and analyze sales and marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales and marketing
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports analyzing sales performance and how it correlates with ad spend. Identifying areas for optimization and improvement
- Coordinate advertising for our store and distribution channels
- Develop a strategy to gain product placement into new stores and line extensions with our current retail channel
- Manage project deadlines and advertising calendar using product management software such as Monday and Slack
Education and Experience Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, sales, or related fields, or 5+ years of experience in a similar role is required.
- 3+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, or E-commerce experience in a product-centric role.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a focus on driving new-to-brand customer acquisition
- Amazon seller central experience
- Strong knowledge of print advertising, digital marketing, email marketing, and e-commerce strategies
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling content for various marketing materials
- Experience in product management, including market research, product launches, and pricing strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and marketing data to drive decision-making
- Budgeting skills to effectively allocate resources for maximum ROI
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with company contacts
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify new market opportunities and develop innovative strategies
-Microsoft Office and Google Sheets experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience with product-focused marketing
- Google Ads/YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and Pinterest advertising experience
- Experience using e-Commerce platforms such as Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, etc
- Experience with distribution networks such as UNFI, KeHE, or similar
