Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer Analyst to join our team. As a Programmer Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, designing and developing software solutions, and providing technical support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software projects.
Duties:
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Design, develop, test, and implement software applications using various programming languages and technologies
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for software systems
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development processes
Skills:
- Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MongoDB)
- Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., TFS, Git)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
- Understanding of UML (Unified Modeling Language) for system design
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Experience working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
