Position Summary:
CO/LAB LAX is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will play a vital role in managing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving revenue growth for our digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as a high-energy, animated, and outgoing personality. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with the sales manager to onboard new clients, lead kickoff meetings, and upsell additional services to existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, fostering strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their needs, provide updates on performance, and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement strategic digital marketing plans aligned with their objectives.
Sales Support and Upselling:
- Assist the sales manager in acquiring new clients, including participating in sales calls, kickoff meetings, and proposal presentations.
- Quickly grasp our services and culture to effectively communicate value to clients and identify upsell opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell additional services or upgrade existing packages to maximize revenue.
Account Management and Project Coordination:
- Lead client meetings and kickoff sessions, ensuring clear communication of objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of client projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery within scope.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing clients with regular reports and insights.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.
Client Advocacy and Retention:
- Act as a client advocate within the agency, ensuring needs and expectations are met.
- Proactively address client concerns or issues to maintain longterm relationships and drive retention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field OR a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a digital marketing agency.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple client accounts (10-20) and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for building relationships.
- Ability to quickly learn about digital marketing services and effectively upsell clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana and Trello, and communication tools like Slack.
