SUMMARY:
The Ecommerce Support Specialist positions assists the Digital Asset Management (DAM) Content Coordinator and the Brand Asset and Rich content Manager in supporting BendPak’s global DAM (Digital Asset Management) and Product Information Management (PIM) systems. You will play a key role in our Marketing department by photographing images used to capture moments, tell stories, and that promote our vast brand portfolio. You will be charged with selecting, editing, and positioning photos, and publishing images in print publications, our Digital Asset Management(DAM) system and the various web sites of our many partners and customers . You will take the images and then review, edit, format, manipulate, and prepare for digital upload, use, launch, and sharing.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Acts as a librarian, archivist, organizer and guardian of our assets (files, images, video, audio- all digital content).
· Ensure that images are getting ingested with the right metadata.
· Adhering to and applying digital naming conventions, file management, metadata, and quality control.
· Collaborate closely with internal and external partners to service different department DAM system needs.
· Assessing current workflows and being able to provide recommendations to inform appropriate solutions.
· Maintain clear and concise naming conventions for assets that are consistent with current and former naming conventions.
· Work through assignments as provided by Brand Assets and Rich Content Manager
· Coordinate with the Brand Assets and Rich Content Manager and the team members to identify photography needs
· Maintain projects and keep track of the deadlines
· Review photos, edit and make necessary changes
· Decide which images to publish
· Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication
· Manipulate photos to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools
· Ensure all photo equipment is used properly and order supplies as needed
· Source compelling images and video
· Review all static content annually at a minimum and update as necessary
· Take all required still images of all products.
· Edit all images to meet Bendpak’s requirements including but not limited to
o (1) Full Front Product on White Background (cutout PNG)
o (1) Scale Reference (Same as above with operator shot)
o (1) Product front right ¾ on white background (cutout PNG)
o (1) Product front left ¾ on white background (cutout PNG)
o (1) Full rear product on white background (cutout PNG)
o (1) Product on white background with callouts
o (1) Product on white background with Dimensions
o (1) Packaged image
o (1-4) Lifestyle images (Action/ in use)
o (1+) Feature Closeups with lower thirds
· Write stories and compelling content to accompany still images
· Update and Manage DAM (Digital Asset Management) making sure we are presenting the best images possible to our vendors.
· Work with Digital Asset Management (DAM) Content Coordinator to verify specifications used in content.
· Work in the Part Information Management (PIM) software to confirm specifications.
REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· High School diploma required; college experience preferred.
· Minimum one year of digital photography experience
· Camera and Lighting knowledge
· Minimum 1-year experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Adobe Sketch, Sketchbook, or similar programs
· Ability to size images and color settings for the web and social media
· Basic social media skills including Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat, Pinterest, and YouTube
· SEO and social media marketing
· Strong PC skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based and Windows-based software and databases, and general internet use.
· Must be able to type a minimum of 45WPM.
· Experience working with Digital Asset Management systems.
· Willing to and adept at learning new digital platforms
· Ability to learn new processes and incorporate them into the Digital Asset Management (DAM)Content Coordinator role as we grow and learn.
