About the Role
We are looking for an experienced operations associate to join Uber Eats Sri Lanka’s delivery operations team and deliver on our experience priorities.
Reporting to the Head of Delivery Operations and Marketplace, you will be accountable for proactively managing the quality execution of the entire spectrum of Delivery partner activities that contribute to a magical experience for all three sides of the Uber Eats marketplace.
Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large data sets to glean actionable insights, developing frameworks to support opportunity identification / prioritization and working with cross-functional teams to execute complex programs of work to deliver a step change in experience on the Uber Eats marketplace.
What You'll Do
- Defect reduction - Investigate and address defects from a delivery and marketplace perspective, identifying root causes for seamless resolution across all delivery segments.
- Improve delivery experience - Proactively implement solutions to elevate and maintain a top-notch delivery experience.
- Support excellence - Develop and optimize support policies and processes as well as work with the customer experience team on enabling the right modalities to ensure excellence in support throughout the delivery lifecycle across all segments.
- Product enablement - Lead Product go-to-market initiatives to drive operational improvements.
- Scaled solutions - Develop scaled solutions to tackle defects and improve customer experience for all delivery segments.
- Program execution - lead complex, cross-functional programs of work to deliver on Magical experience priorities.
- People leadership - Guide and mentor a young team of operations specialists to achieve a dynamic high-performing team.
What You'll Need
- 3 years of relevant work experience in delivery-facing and/or customer experience roles including 2 years of experience in identifying and reducing defect reduction/issue resolution.
- Strong understanding of online marketplace dynamics and an analytical mindset to derive insights from data.
- Advanced problem-solving and project management skills to identify and prioritise the execution of high-impact opportunities
- Ability to work with large data sets, BI tools and SQL to navigate Uber’s data sources.
Basic Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills and experience working with a broad group of stakeholders to execute operational priorities.
- Relevant experience working across the Tech/startup space is a plus.
