Reporting to the Director of New Program Development, the Program Development Manager will lead the development, submission, and tracking of high-quality grant proposals to institutional funders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Streamlines and manages the proposal application process. Provides information/guidance to Executive Management and program staff and collaborating with them to develop a comprehensive plan for new grant awards.
- Explore new funding opportunities, including analyzing new RFP/RFAs, and researching new grant opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and development of grant proposals.
- Serves as a liaison between S:US and funders before, during and after grant submission.
- Craft high-quality proposal narratives and supporting documents.
- Draft & procure letters of support commitment via strategic partnership development.
- Route proposals for review by leadership and incorporate any feedback and edits.
- Maintains records and files for all grants related documents, including: RFPs, application packages, electronic submission verification, grant award notification, historical data/applications, denial letters, application feedback, and other related grant correspondences
- Track and report grant submissions, applications, and award results.
QUALIFIED APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of related professional experience - Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication; fluent command of written English
- Strong project management and organization; basic math and budgeting; Adobe
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with program staff on program development.
- Experience with grants management and application systems (Grants.gov, ERA, HHS Accelerator, Grants Gateway, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with funders, partners and within the service community.
- Demonstrated expertise/knowledge in supportive services environments – particularly understanding daily operations and functions of Recovery and Treatment, Housing, and Homeless Services programs.
