Blazy Susan, a dynamic and innovative player in the cannabis industry, is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the cannabis market and digital marketing trends. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive sales across many digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that align with our brand goals and the unique dynamics of the cannabis industry.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging and compliant content for various digital platforms including social media, blogs, emails, and our website.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and insights in the cannabis industry, using data to inform marketing strategies.
- Data Analysis: Utilize the fool kit of tools provided to collect, analyze and report data to inform decisions within the digital department.
- SEO and SEM: Manage SEO and SEM campaigns to increase online visibility and organic traffic. Work with our Agency partners to drive results.
- Social Media: Develop and manage our social media team & agency partners to ensure consistent brand messaging and engagement with our community.
- Email Marketing: Work with our agency partners to plan and execute email marketing campaigns, segmenting audiences for targeted outreach.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies.
- Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum ROI.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and product teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the cannabis industry.
- A minimum of 2-3 years managing teams to achieve and exceed goals.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Knowledge of ecommerce platforms & marketplaces: Woocommerce, BigCommerce, Amazon, Etsy, etc.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels.
- Creative thinking with an eye for design.
- Knowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance standards.
