Overview
Job Title: Sr Site Merchandiser
Essential Function: The Sr. Site Merchandiser reports to the Ecommerce Manager, and is responsible for executing merchandise strategy, driving Ecommerce customer experience on BSG websites, and providing digital analytics support for merchandise categories to marketing and merchandising leadership. The candidate must be passionate about creating emotional connections with the BSG customer, and a relentless determination to solve customer needs. This position requires an individual who can balance priorities of merchandising/Full Service and marketing against what is in the best interest of digital customers.
Primary Duties:
- Determines opportunities and manages all product areas of the Cosmo Prof website, including the visual display of the category pages and category-specific taxonomy, navigation, and search experience. Defines and executes timely and relevant merchandising strategies by leveraging product performance reporting, industry expertise, and trend awareness coupled with insights and recommendations from Manager/Director.
- Monitors website performance utilizing KPI reports. Identifies areas and partners with merchandising, marketing, and digital product teams for improvement/concern across the site and traffic sources, calling out risks to current sales plans and ideating problem-solving solutions to course correct.
- Responsible for building and reviewing site promotions, ensuring that all promotions are set up accurately. This includes following up with merchandising and marketing partners to confirm co-op and promotional details, as well as reporting and communicating promotion performance.
- Proof monthly site content and CRM/marketing campaigns by providing links to optimize customer journey and conversion. Participate in the marketing brief process to ensure e-commerce strategies are being met.
- Assist with the training and development of Site Merchandisers and Site Coordinators.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail-related experience.
- 3+ years related e-commerce experience with a multi-channel retailer.
- Salesforce, Tableau, and Google Analytics experience a plus.
- This position requires the individual to have excellent attention to detail and be customer-centric oriented as well as interactive both within the department as well as cross-functional with Merchandising, Marketing, Digital, Vendors, and P&A.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements:
- The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
