Overview
Boston Arts Academy (BAA) and BAA Foundation are at an exciting time in their history. The City of Boston and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts generously provided funding to build a state-of-the-art school building for Boston Arts Academy at 174 Ipswich Street, across from Fenway Park and MGM Music Hall, which opened to students in September 2022. The thoughtfully designed, new school building offers better rehearsal studios, high-tech fashion and fine art studios, a cutting-edge STEAM Lab, a rooftop recital hall, fully-accessible professional theatres, and more.
To support the school and its growing student body, BAA Foundation launched Building Our Future, a seven-year comprehensive campaign raising $35 million to augment Boston Arts Academy’s School budget and ensure long-term sustainability. We are proud to announce that Mayor Michelle Wu has partnered with us as Honorary Campaign Chair to help us close the campaign over the next 16 months, by June 30, 2025. Together with Mayor Wu and our community, we can continue to provide access to equitable education for generations to come and to build the future for BAA students. To date, the Foundation has raised nearly $28 million towards the campaign goal.
Joining the Boston Arts Academy Foundation is a chance to help create life-changing opportunities for Boston Arts Academy’s diverse and talented students!
