Marketing Events Manager and Digital Content Creator
Reports to Director of Marketing
Remote position - work from home, travel to events within MA, NH, and ME

You’ll develop content, plan, and execute our marketing strategy. You’ll work directly with the Director of Marketing and advise on new opportunities and plan development for new initiatives as we grow.
Your day will vary greatly from week to week and generally will consist of identifying and planning for new events, working the event, and marketing to identify new customers. This full time position will require you to work most weekends but only when shows are active during the year. During times when there are no events, your day will center around developing new content for our social media and advertising campaigns, assist the director of marketing, and travel to locations within MA and NH to take video or pictures of our exceptional installations.

Much of our process and model will require training and acclimation that will be provided in your initial onboarding. As our brand grows, this position will develop new markets and additional revenue sources with excellent opportunities for growth, promotion, raises, and additional bonuses.
General Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the company’s participation in outreach events, home shows, and other industry-related events.
- Coordinate all related logistical tasks associated with pre-show, during show, and post show follow-up including administration, setup/breakdown, sample coordination, calendar maintenance, promotional materials preparation and employee scheduling.
- Collaborate internally to develop event strategies, new banner displays, product promotion, objectives, and key messaging to effectively represent the company.
- Maintain an up-to-date calendar of upcoming trade shows and events
- Content strategy – collaborate with creative, marketing, and graphic design partners to ideate and define content goals.
- Content calendar – develop, manage, and drive timely execution.
- Content optimization – collaborate with SEO, SEM, and SMO experts to ensure top search rankings and click through rates for new and existing content.
- Content creation – work independently and with subject matter experts and design, marketing, videography, and copywriting partners to concept, write, maintain, and monitor content for both digital and print. Examples include the website, landing pages, social media, blogs, case studies, videos, sales collateral, newsletters, and email marketing.
- Onsite and on location content creation including videography, photography, customer testimonials, and onsite lead generation.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and to meet milestones.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and contribute to multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
- Extroverted and outgoing personality, comfortable with engaging with new customers and quickly developing rapport
- Ability to effectively work with resources at all levels both within Symphony Concrete Coatings and with external partners.
- Ability to work independently and self-prioritize, with limited direction when necessary.
- Proficiency with Google, Adobe, and Office product suites.
- Photography expertise and light graphic design experience is preferred.
- CMS development, and maintenance
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, photography, writing, design, business, creative writing, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Able to stand unassisted for long periods of time and lift weight over 30lbs
- Must have valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation required
