We are inviting a savvy digital communications individual to join our team!
We are looking for a creative, results oriented individual who can think outside of the box and deliver projects on time. You will be responsible for the performance of our online marketing efforts and heading a team that looks after updating products on our website, designing page layouts for conversion, creating blog posts, marketing email automations, and social media posts that boost engagement (video production).
SALARY
- $48,000 Per year
- $10,000 Annual performance bonus
WHO YOU ARE
- You are the architect of our brand, advertising and communications strategy.
- You understand the analytics of online advertising and can confidently demonstrate ongoing improvements to ad performance and conversion rates, both within the ad itself and on-page conversion.
- You have copywriting skills and examples of past creative writing skills (you will be asked to bring this to the interview and present it)
- You are comfortable being a public-facing figure as an on-camera spokesperson when required
- You take charge in leading and developing collaborative marketing campaigns
- You thrive leading and managing a creative team in implementing the brand guidelines of the company across various ad platforms and social media
- You have an eye for design and visual appeal with regards to page layout, images and video editing
- Possess knowledge and a passion for a health and fitness-oriented lifestyle. (If you do not have this, it will be difficult for you to communicate what we do to our audience. Someone that understands the fitness industry will be able to communicate to our audience accordingly)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Will lead our company's marketing department. You will spearhead the creative communication and marketing work for the company as well as work closely with our marketing agencies to deliver engaging content and advertising that meets the expectations of our customers and brand. You should be extremely creative, dedicated, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The goal of this position will be to build an in-house creative team and eventually take all outside agency assistance in-house for design and marketing, and limit outside contracted work as much as possible.
REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION
- Experience with ActiveCampaign CRM or email automation workflows.
- Well versed in Shopify operations
- Well versed in Facebook ad management software
- Well-versed in digital marketing including email marketing and customer segmentation.
- Must have experience in e-commerce analytics.
- A 2 or 4 year degree is required in any of these areas of study: Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations/Consumer Relations, Business Management, Economics. Degrees similar to these areas of study will be considered.

- Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift
- 9am-5pm
- This is an “In Office” position
- Must be able to travel for work if and when required, such as for trade shows. Ample notice in advance will be given if and when.
