Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Analyst is in an exciting position to drive conversion rate optimization across the organization and within the marketing department. Utilizing user data as a source of truth, this role will provide reporting and analysis to inform user journey improvements and marketing strategy. The DMA will collaborate with Product, Creative/Content, SEO, and UX to influence and acquire quotes and policies through all channels and journeys.
Though this role requires creativity in strategy through critical thinking, it is best-suited for someone with a process-driven and analytical mind and will not be focused on practical design. The DMA will work closely with a UX designer to execute strategy as needed. Candidates should have experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO), Google Analytics, Statistical Analysis, Personalization Tools, and A/B & multivariate testing tools, and must be able to use this experience to drive measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Support and advance overall marketing conversion rate optimization efforts
- Set up and manage goals, performance funnels, user segments, event tracking in GA and other analytics tools
- Analyze and report on user behavior throughout the acquisition process via Google Analytics and other tools
- Identify consumer trends and behaviors
- Conduct CRO audits across platforms, devices, and channels
- Develop research-informed and data-based hypothesizes as proposals for tests and experiences to drive conversion improvements
- Create, execute, and report on A/B tests, multivariant tests, and personalized user experiences
- Own, maintain, and monitor Google Analytics
- Create and investigate reporting alerts related to the conversion funnel
- Utilize internal and analytic data to identify user and customer experience improvement opportunities
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics / optimization role
Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven analytical skills, including extracting data from multiple sources, summarizing and displaying data, analyzing and interpreting results, and formulating solutions and recommendations
- High level of expertise in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical / data visualization skills
- Working knowledge of SQL preferred
- Understanding of basic concepts for HTML, CSS and JavaScript preferred
- High level of organization and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
