The Role:
We are looking for a Junior Product Manager who will be the vital link between our beauty technology products and business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks.
The ideal candidate for this position is a problem solver. As a Junior Product Manager, you will use your knowledge, skills, and abilities to solve organizational information challenges and your critical thinking skills to identify client requirements and translate those into detailed instructions for our internal and external team to execute. The ideal Junior Product Manager also has strong technical and communication skills and can build relationships with both their team members and client stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and support the implementation of business data solutions with priority to top beauty brands, to build a blueprint for customer needs
- Assist in the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define product features
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements and bug fixes
- Assist in the creation of product documentation, including requirements, user guides and release notes
- Support the product manager in prioritizing and managing the product backlog
- Assist in conducting user acceptance testing and gathering feedback for product improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Waterfall or Agile
- Familiarity with SQL (Structured Query Language) for queries and data gathering
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Proficiency in using project management software to track progress and manage tasks
- Understanding of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for integrating software systems
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions for product improvements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
