Responsibilities

This job is not a teoretical application of industrial systems but more hands-on troubleshooting; expectations are to troubleshoot, maintain and also improve all automation, vision and controls systems including, but not limited to, the electrical application of these systems.

VisionTheoretical and practical application of optics and lighting for vision systems

Troubleshooting capabilities of various vision programs and systems

Hardware / Software / Systems integration

Knowledge and experience in LabView and HALCON (controls and automation)

Controls / AutomationDigital, ethernet, profibus and profinet communication between robots, PLC, HMI and networks

Troubleshooting capabilities of various robotic and automation systems

Digital and analog IO diagnostics and exchanges

Kawasaki robot experience preferred

Siemens PLC
-
ProgrammingKawasaki and Siemens TIA portal basic knowledge / experience preferred

C Sharp, C++

Troubleshooting capabilities of various PLC, HMI platforms and non-compiled programs

ElectricalTroubleshooting capabilities of basic and advanced electrical systems

Basics Installation of simple electrical systems

Electrical diagram reading and maintenance

AutoCAD electrical experience preferred
Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience

5+ years of Industry-relevant professional experience

Relevant certifications, system experience, and training

Professional-Level English language skills preferred
