SUMMARY:
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reporting on the company's Organic Social Media strategy to grow brand awareness, increase community engagement, drive website traffic, and increase online sales. As a pivotal member of the team, you will help support and plan our social media content calendar, create and develop data-based reporting, manage and develop post copy and captions, and collaborate with members of the broader Content and Digital Marketing teams.
Reporting to the Brand Assets and Rich Content Manager, the Social Media Coordinator will own and elevate the social media presence for the BendPak brand portfolio; build and nurture our community; amplify our earned and owned share of voice via targeted marketing and communications tactics; and drive performance using a data-driven approach to inform strategies and KPIs.
Responsible for the day-to-day digital messaging and visual representation of BendPak, the Social Media Coordinator must have experience creating and managing innovative brand content to strategically drive engagement, growth, loyalty, booking conversions, and industry leadership. You must be masterful at engaging storytelling, with an eye for both detail and aesthetic, and have experience creating IG Reels, TikTok videos, and other bite-size content that connect with consumers, generate buzz, and amplify the BendPak family of brands.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Content Creation: Develop high-quality, visually appealing, and engaging content, including text, images, and videos, tailored to each social media platform.
- Social Media Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with company goals, including increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and lead generation.
- Community Engagement: Actively monitor and engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Content Calendar: Create and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent posting schedule and coordination with other marketing initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Regularly track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Prepare reports and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ad Campaigns: Manage paid social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and ad creativity.
- Stay Current: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all social media content is in line with the brand's voice, values, and guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content.
- Social Listening: Monitor conversations about our brand and industry trends to identify engagement opportunities and advocacy opportunities.
- Manage and oversee all social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest) for BendPak and its family of brands.
- Develop and implement a monthly editorial and visual calendar across relevant channels. Present social media plans internally on a monthly basis.
- Identify key dates and events for targeted programming and offerings.
- Set social media strategy in collaboration with the Brand Assets and Rich Content Manager and Digital Marketing team Guiding content creation.
- Create guidelines for each BendPak brand's social media presence, defining brand voice, tone, and design standards.
- Write and curate copy for all posts/stories in alignment with each BendPak brand’s style and voice.
- Execute social media campaigns, collaborating with content creators to capture creative content, including videos and photos.
- Create and edit short video content for digital and social pages across properties.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of local social media activities across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and other relevant channels.
- Help manage the social media advertising budget effectively and provide monthly analytics to demonstrate channel growth.
- Analyze performance of organic pages and craft reporting strategy, developing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and communicating this analysis and findings to relevant internal groups.
- Schedule and manage photography need for each brand, creating shot lists and mood boards.
- Coordinate photo and video shoots with photographers, video teams, etc.
- Define KPIs, track post-performance and engagement, and handle all community management, responding professionally to online inquiries and engaging with mentions or tags.
- Create design assets for social media such as flyers, custom stories, etc., and oversee and lead the creation of social media graphics and assets with designers as needed.
- Manage relationships with influencers, content creators, and industry contacts in each market. Organize influencer events, source user-generated content for storytelling, and build a network of local creators.
- Work with influencers and creators to support creating video content and content to be used across social channels. Manage weekly communications, schedules, and reviews with creators.
- Generate engaging content and content ideas aligned with current trends, demonstrating a keen eye for design, technical skill, and knowledge of culinary trends.
- Liaise and collaborate with external partners, and PR teams to align initiatives on social media.
- Ideate and execute digital partnerships, collaborations, and giveaways with like-minded brands.
- Support Digital Marketing team with email marketing initiatives and web updates as needed.
- Regularly meet with key stakeholders to ensure current and accurate content.
- Create compelling and engaging content across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) to showcase the unique stories of our brands.
- Drive audience growth, engagement, and interactions through community management and interactive campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and conversations to identify opportunities for real-time engagement and viral content.
- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Explore and implement influencer collaborations, partnerships, and cross-promotional opportunities to expand our music network.

· Assist with the day-to-day execution and management across our acquisition channels with the goal of increasing brand consideration and new customers and maintaining a positive RoAS.
· Understand the role data analytics can play in understanding customer behaviors and optimizing ads.
· Tracking ROI on internet listing services (ILS), SEO/SEM, PPC, paid social and other digital ad campaigns and marketing initiatives.
· Helps manage email and SMS marketing.

REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
· High School diploma required; college degree preferred, Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist/Coordinator or similar role
· Knowledge of social media analytics tools and platforms
· Excellent content creation and graphic design skills.
· Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics.
· Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online advertising campaigns
· Strong knowledge of SEO principles, practices, and techniques for optimizing social media content for search engines.
· Strong knowledge and experience with Social Media Management Platforms, Facebook Business, and Ad Manager.
· Video editing, photo editing and graphic design skills
· Proficient in using design tools: Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Final Cut/Adobe Premiere and more

WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
· Must regularly walk to and from different warehouses to conduct research.

· This role routinely uses standard general office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines, and various computer software programs.
