Position Summary
Work closely with Strategy, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and other departments to drive the successful development, launch, and go-to-market strategies for Calman Ready and Calman Universal Interface (CUI) protocol. Define and maintain tools and documentation for Calman Ready partners to successfully integrate their hardware into the Calman current and future product lines.
Key Responsibilities
o Evangelize Calman Ready initiatives. Work directly with display customers and internal teams to release new hardware support on time. Own and communicate the product roadmap for Claman Ready partners.
o Stay abreast of display industry trends and emerging technologies to shape the product roadmap.
o Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to support product development and launch efforts.
o Possess in-depth knowledge of color science as well as display technologies and scalers
o Have a deep understanding of both consumer and commercial displays and the markets they serve.
o Provide technical guidance and contribute to solving complex technical challenges.
o Provide guidance and support in project planning, prioritization, and execution. Oversee milestones using Gitlab or MS Project. Ensure critical issues that arise are promptly addressed.
o Work directly with high profile customers. Participate in weekly calls, document and share objectives and risks with management. Report minutes from all meetings to properly align departments for release.
o Create, update and maintain technical documentation and marketing requirements for all customers of a public facing product line.
o Update and sustain all Test Cases including new features for customer test plan documentation.
o Update and maintain technical implementation documentation for partner integration teams
o Assess value, usability and feasibility of product features when defining product. Test key assumptions and help answer key technical product questions and concerns.
o After product release, coordinate activities to validate that the product works as designed and measure success or failure in the marketplace.
o Track bug fixes and updates; and compile and maintain product enhancement list for future versions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
· Four year college degree or equivalent industry experience
· In depth understanding of display technologies and scalers.
· High level understanding of color science.
· Familiarity with video calibration and video pipelines
· Technical experience (Gitlab database usage, MS Project, XML editing) is highly desirable.
· Experience as a DevOps Lead or Technical Product Manager with working knowledge of the development lifecycle process, including feature set and workflow design.
· An enthusiast of display technology, including movies, digital photography, games that related to color display.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in leading technical conversations with internal and external stakeholders
· Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to effectively influence others
· Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to listen and use logical reasoning to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven ability to set achievable customer expectations and build customer confidence.
· Willingness to assume responsibility for solving customer problems and ensure commitments to them are met.
· Programming background highly desirable
