Overview:
The role of the Digital Content Specialist is to bolster Mercy's content strategy, and support all things related to content, including ongoing site maintenance, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement. Responsible for numerous arcs of work, including iterative updates and upkeep of mercy.net and related properties.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or Public Relations required.
- Experience:
- 3+ years in web marketing and web content management
- Experience working with content management systems, such as Adobe Experience ManagerExperience with website optimization and analytics tools
- Experience with information architecture, web usability, audience segmentation, web governance, and web accessibility standards
- Skill Requirements:
- Experience with ideating compelling messages for different target demographics and personas
- Understanding of how data and analytics shape content strategy
- Strong interpersonal skills to motivate and drive collaboration with other functions.
- Ability to inspire content creators to achieve company and/or campaign goals.
- Some experience working with analytics tools, like Google Analytics, Google Adwords or Adobe Consumer Journey Analytics.
- Organized, reliable self-starter with strong creative thinking, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with an overall passion for continual improvement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
