Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.
Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance, Digital & Data Platforms (EDGP) organization, which sits within Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS). EDSS improves Amex data privacy & data sharing through the implementation of modern data sharing capabilities and strategies that enable faster speed to market while enhancing safe sharing connections. Within EDSS, we are embarking on an exciting and transformational journey to modernize our Digital Tracking Platform and processes, driving growth, efficiency, and compliance.
The Sr. Manager Product Management – Digital Tag Management will execute critical initiatives across the Digital Tracking ecosystem. Specifically, this role will focus on the efficient delivery of key regulatory and growth-related initiatives across the Digital Tracking platform, including partnering with lines of business, product teams, and second line partners. Through the coordinated delivery of end-to-end solutions and process enhancements, this role will execute critical near-term goals, while designing a new way of working with the modern Digital Tracking Platform for internal and external partners alike.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the product strategy for the digital tag management platform at American Express
Partner with business and governance teams to create digital tracking solutions that are both compliant, yet built to power growth and achieve business goals
Assess vendor partners for viable enterprise solutions in the tag management platform, and as applicable, work through the procurement process
Coordinate with business partners and portfolio teams to prioritize significant incoming business demand
Lead a scrum team to execute features and stories, enabling the product vision
Qualification Requirements:
- 5+ years of demonstrated excellence in leading teams delivering technology-driven business solutions across the enterprise
Highly organized and self-motivated individual who can combine problem-resolution, insights-driven prioritization, and ability to influence to achieve critical business goals
Rigorous attention to detail, with demonstrated proficiency in creating transparent, well-communicated, and scalable processes, while leading the implementation of those processes across a matrixed environment
Confidence in decision-making in complex & ambiguous situations; comfortable troubleshooting and aligning conflicting interests
Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts & processes to a wide variety of audiences
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
