Position Summary
LifeVantage is looking for a Digital Product Manager for our Consultant tools and customer engagementproduct teams.
You’ll be responsible to work cross-functionally with the senior leaders to develop a vision and a roadmap for LifeVantage’s digital platforms. Your role will be to continue to develop our digital solutions for social selling and back-office support into the most comprehensive and highest quality experiences for customers and consultants in the marketplace.
As a DPM you’ll explore and develop product ideas, whether interviewing customers, looking at competitors or investigating solutions. There are many great ideas, but only some can be implemented so you’ll collaborate with UX, technology and leadership to prioritize the best for product development.
The heart of a DPM’s job is to translate user requirements into executable work items that the development team can implement in the product. You will have the detailed technical knowledge necessary so you can explain feature requirements to developers and work with them to deliver these improvements for users.
You will be responsible to ensure we are prepared to deliver and service products throughout their life cycle. This includes ensuring that the organization is prepared to deliver and support the entire business capability (including all its human, organizational, process and physical aspects, such as training for call-center agents and other employees).
LifeVantage has a complex set of needs and a wide-ranging ecosystem so you will have a strong analytical mind, that is comfortable discussing technology options and understanding product trade-offs.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys working with and influencing users, technology and delivering products that users love. You’ll need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to work at both a user and technical level and have a strong focus on outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned.
Product Exploring

Understanding the overall market, competitors, and applicable technologies.

Work closely with stakeholders (such as customers, sales, marketing, and business development) to understand needs and priorities.

Translate market and stakeholder needs into product requirements and definitions.

Collaborate with Sales, Marketing/UX, and Engineering on feature ideas and prototypes to bring potential solutions to life.
Product Development

Collaborate with stakeholders to guide feature development and prioritization.

Translate user requirements into executable feature work-items with engineering and external vendors.

Be the "voice of the customer" during specification and development stages.
Product Success

Able to communicate business value of product capabilities to sales and marketing.

Act as a product champion externally and internally in support of sales channels.

Track and report key metrics to drive future product development.
Education and/or Experience
-
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in technology/business or equivalent business experience.

Experience: Five to Seven years of relevant product management experience in IT and business.

Three or more years in diverse roles and increasing responsibilities across business and IT,
-
Demonstrable experience of engaging executives and other stakeholders to support important business decisions.

Familiarity with the principles of design thinking, and lean and agile software delivery.

More than three years working with design professionals within a design thinking process, including as an assistant in the user experience design process (preferred).
