Job Description
Johnson & Johnson Vision seeks a strategic digital leader to join our Vision Experience team and shape and drive every stage of product lifecycles from design to retirement. The candidate should have significant end-to-end product management experience. They should have a demonstrated track record of making product decisions that balance customer needs, production capabilities, and business profitability. They should be ready to change the eye health world by contributing to new standards of care that boost positive patient outcomes.
The individual will have the opportunity to grow product development practice across the org as they develop the talent and teams that will shape Vision's future eye health tools and experiences. The successful candidate will have managed in a large organization and had success in navigating product development in the healthcare industry.
This position will have a voice in and responsibility for leading innovation that supports end-to-end eye health. The role will be perfect for someone who is motivated to trail blaze experiences that will help the 84% of the world’s population who struggle with seeing life and their loved ones clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and deliver patient and professional infrastructure, tools, and UX products based on validated user-need, scalable opportunity, and category growth impact.
- Drive a product-development mentality and build product-development competency across Vision.
- Develop product management and project management talent across the entire reach of Vision's 130 markets and global HQ.
- Build a comprehensive user-first, data-driven product development function in Vision, walking the path to product optimization and innovation arm in arm with Technology’s CDO, architects, and engineers.
- Establish a strong, collaborative relationship with Research & Insights to ensure an obsessive focus is maintained on user-first development with iterative, product discovery applying test & learn methodology and measured every step lifecycle.
- Collaborate with our Eye Care Professionals to create products that further the continuum and standard of care for better patient outcomes, inclusive of CRM, professional education, precision marketing, practice management solutions, and new tools and solutions that support and educate.
- Facilitate cross regions/countries sharing case studies, new capabilities, and experiences through a global digital council.
- Lead a diverse, inclusive team encouraging #oneteam approach, agility and innovation building positive relationships global functional teams and regional partners.
- Pursue individual development, grow skills, and be a lifelong learner by continuously keeping up with connected care, connected content, e-commerce, and technology trends; helping share knowledge and build capabilities across the organization.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- 4+ years of product-development leadership in Consumer Tech, High Tech, MedTech, or Cloud Platforms including inception, test and learn, execution, optimization, and sunsetting of product with each step backed by data and passionate measurement of performance.
- 2+ years of direct people management experience with proven track record to develop and grow talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of online/virtual ecosystems, developing solutions for owned and extended channels, user-first/outside-in development, connected commerce, and marketing integration.
- Strong ability to work with, influence, and coordinate on product development with cross-functional partners from engineering to marketing.
- Navigate and influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making with agility and insights driven communication.
- Experience in product delivery following agile software development methods and prior experience taking at least one or more products from concept to launch.
- Experience building digital capabilities, facilitating knowledge sharing and creating an environment of collaboration and inclusion across diverse regions, functions and culture.
- Prior experience working with Legal, Regulatory, and global partners.
- This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Preferred:
- Experience with Global Medical Device product, regulatory frameworks such as IVDR, MDR, SaMD, etc.
- Demonstrated eye for identifying talent and an ability to manage talent to new skills.
- Experience with Data Science, Data Engineering, AI (Artificial Intelligence), ML (Machine Learning).

Anticipated Salary Range: $99,000- $170,200
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
