The Digital Product Manager will assist with the vision and strategic direction, helping drive the roadmap of various Digital Operations products and oversee the entire lifecycle of public-facing digital products from inception to launch. This role requires a broad range of skills, from market and customer research, product architecture design, experience in software development, database architecture, analytics, and reporting, to supply chain planning.
We seek an experienced Digital Product Manager to lead a multidisciplinary product development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should possess a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in creating products that improve customer experience and grow market share. We are also looking for an experienced candidate that can be the liaison between the business team and IT along with articulating digital concepts and direction with clients at an executive level.
There is also a significant project management component to the role that can include managing the workflows of multiple initiatives including website development, email marketing campaigns, metrics, and analytics, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Achieving product-market fit, including analyzing, understanding, and representing client needs.
- Use market research to get ideas for features that clients will want.
- Specifying and overseeing the research needed to determine the needs and desires of customers.
- Help the team drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in developing, QA, and releasing products and balancing resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
- Develop product positioning strategies that differentiate our clients across primary market segments.
- Prioritize product roadmap based on business needs and requirements balanced against technical requirements.
- Iterate on information and insights from end-users from various tools such as analytics tools, user surveys, focus groups, and testing tools that provide feedback on digital products.
- Create the best customer journey possible by navigating and communicating across operations, marketing, and customer service teams.
- Work with creative and marketing teams to bring the digital product approach and vision to life.
- Discover the right solution and implement a digital strategy to meet the needs of our customers for our next-generation digital experience, prioritizing the solution efforts appropriately and providing oversight for proper integration.
- Create a vision and strategy and monitor it through completion, guiding ongoing support of the digital product infrastructure, including connected systems and integrations.
- Act as the intermediary between the customers, business teams, and the technical teams, communicating consumer needs and translating those needs into new product features for the team to design and build.
- Experience working within the Agile methodology.
- Ability to be hands-on with technological tasks and research. This could include T-SQL queries and data analysis.

Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in digital product management or equivalent role.
- Excited about building great digital products and solving customer/business problems.
- Strong background in Customer-Focused and Usability design.
- Technical Project Management experience.
- Experience with testing & deployment tools.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Application Insights, Tableau, PowerBI, Azure DevOps, SQL, MySQL, .NET
- Ability to translate technical specifications and direction to client stakeholders and vice versa.
- Strong communications skills and personability that applies to a wide range of personalities and backgrounds. e.g. technical, product teams, management, and clients.
