The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategies & processes to grow eCommerce sales on company websites, manage 3rd party online marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Walmart), and developing and coordinating content for social media and other digital platforms. S/he will be responsible for driving revenue via the online marketplaces and maintaining positive ratings & customer experiences. Using best practices, s/he will also execute social media strategies that increase brand visibility and traffic across all social platforms. S/he will measure the progress and results of all campaigns and provide in-depth and actionable insights for improvement.
Essential Duties
- The manager will provide input and direction regarding online merchandising for all eCommerce sites, including the implementation and maintenance of a digital asset catalog to ensure that all item descriptions, photography, video, and other page content is delivered accurately and in an optimized fashion. Generate all online product content (e.g., copy, multimedia, photography) that is effectively optimized for not only the web, but also for the specific eCommerce platforms and/or sites
- S/he will assist in creating and implementing effective and profitable acquisition strategies across all platforms and sites through the successful use of paid advertising (Paid Search and Paid Social), SEO, social media, Instagram, affiliate marketing, and/or other online demand generation activities. Provide daily, active oversight across all acquisition strategies to ensure both increased traffic and high conversion/AOV campaigns
- The manager will support/manage the eBay, Amazon, and Walmart stores (as well as new stores being developed, e.g., Facebook), including answering calls & emails, taking orders, processing drop ship orders, coordinating with warehouse operations regarding inventory levels, product quality, slow moving / obsolete products and shipping, and other duties as assigned.
- S/he will cross reference new parts for fitment and description accuracy. S/he will regularly price compare online and assist with catalogs, flyers, customer marketing material, and mailings and maintain messaging and branding consistency across platforms.
- The manager will refine & execute social media strategies, including content development, community engagement, and management for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, as well as other social platforms & forums by developing and posting content that will drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads. They will explore new ways to engage new social networks to reach target audiences.
- He/she will improve the company’s organic, paid, and social engagement search results and report KPIs / performance metrics, including campaign analytics, efficiency metrics, brand metrics, customer metrics, and overall return on investment for digital marketing and communications initiatives.
- The manager will prepare reports for various types of analysis, reporting, and/or billing purposes. S/he will maintain data in an accurate, organized fashion and will retrieve information as requested.
- S/he performs other related duties and may assist other departments as assigned.
Environment and Physical ActivityThe environment for this position is an open office that is clean and comfortable, non-confined office-type setting in which he/she is free to move about at will.In the course of performing this position, the incumbent spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 60 pounds), carrying, seeing (such as close, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching.This position may be required to operate any or all the following: telephone, cell telephone, general office equipment including copy and fax machines, calculator, computer and related printers. S/he must be able to sit for prolonged periods and work non-traditional hours when needed

Position Requirements

- B.A./B.S. in Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Business Administration, or another related discipline preferred.
- Five (5) years of work experience in digital media or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; experience in eCommerce, online marketplace selling, SEO/SEM, and social media is required. A solid understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices is needed.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Adwords and social media advertising options (e.g., Facebook ads). Experience working with Google Analytics, SEM Rush, and other online campaign measurement tools is desired.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects in a fast-paced environment; ability to work well with people at all levels and across departments.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
- Strong process orientation: Detail-oriented, logical, and methodological approach to handling tasks. Ability to read, analyze and interpret direction and procedures.
- Excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
