Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.
Enterprise Data Sharing Solutions (EDSS) is part of the Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) organization. EDSS improves Amex data privacy & data sharing through the implementation modern data sharing capabilities and strategies that enable faster speed to market while enhancing safe sharing connections.
EDSS Digital Tagging and Tracking Platforms (DTTP) is focused on driving the next generation of behavioral data capture for improved insights, analytics, controls, and predictive AI/ML. Our mission is to collect and capture vital data for the Enterprise in a way that is conscious, ethical, forward facing, and strategic by introducing a dynamic tagging strategy, implementing an Enterprise-wide user consent method, and a digital customer-initiated data sharing platform. We are also responsible for key relationships with strategic vendors that enable our platforms and have significant influence on key processes involving our capabilities across the Enterprise within applicable regulations and policies.
We are looking for a Senior Manager to drive the development, socialization, and execution of our core DTTP strategy, while partnering across federated lines of business and Enterprise Centers of Excellence to establish and optimize baseline and point of arrival engagement models for our platforms and key vendor relationships. This requires someone who can work across a complex platform, data, and experience landscape, while leading effective partner engagement through the development of key relationships, core collateral and knowledge of the constant evolution of privacy regulations across the globe. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic, looking to further their career in an engagement-centered role focused on data and cutting-edge digital tracking solutions. This role will report to the Director, DTTP Strategy and will be a key player in various complex projects driving both internal and external customer objectives across our global business.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Work across the DTTP Strategy & Platform teams to develop, communicate and execute on point of next and point of arrival platform strategies, as well as engagement models for partner teams across the organization
Build relationships with critical business partners to evangelize and get buy in to DTTP technical solutions and enablement methods, and manage partners in getting efficient, consistent access to our capabilities
Work with Enterprise teams to establish how digital tagging and tracking platforms can support a more robust digital governance process
Develop and maintain core assets to communicate the DTTP vision and engagement model across various stakeholders, including informational documents and/or hubs for partner learning
Drive strategic alignment with Operational Excellence, Engineering, Product, Analytics, GCO and GPO partners on responses to regulatory initiatives impacting the portfolio
Monitor and collect key stakeholder input to inform strategic DTTP platform development/roadmap decisions
People leadership of 1-2 Digital Product Management Associates
Experience in E2E digital project/product management and strategy - a proven track record of building and executing strategies and engagement models for existing data and/or consumer-facing product(s)
Excellent ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, easily understood concepts and collateral for communication across a wide breadth of stakeholders
Demonstrated ability be comfortable with white space and manage through ambiguity - ability to solve problems through innovative and creative thinking
Experience in external vendor management and working directly with Technology/Engineering teams
Expert written and spoken communication skills; persuasive and proven ability to influence decisions and drive results without direct authority
Strong track record of building and sustaining effective relationships with business partners and colleagues across several business units
Proactive analytical skills with a keen eye towards implications on strategy and capability impacts
Demonstrated ability to drive results and optimize resources to achieve goals
Flexibility to work and manage business partners across multiple time zones
Driven, entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and able to act with a high level of independence
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
