Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented specialist with the unique ability to blend analytics with creative marketing. Serving in an important marketing and sales function, this position oversees external online acquisition marketing, manages customer strategy, execution, and optimization, and drives sales to e-Commerce partners through online pay-per-click, cost-per-acquisition, SEO, social media, and other traffic generating campaigns. Establishing an annual forecast with monthly targeted sales for all e-Commerce customers, this position is responsible for monitoring retail sites and pricing across e-Commerce customers, ensuring there are no channel conflicts within the e-Commerce world or across our brick-and-mortar customers. With the authority to create and define unique customer specific portfolios, this position will lead the fast ramp up of successful new product launches.
Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages assigned e-commerce accounts with key responsibility for delivering sales and profitability targets
- Responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive annual promotional calendar, adhering to budgeting constraints and strategies, and maximizing growth in targeted categories.
- Continual analysis of product listings and competitive actions is an essential element of this job, requiring quick adaptation to new technologies and tools on the forefront of data analysis.
- Maintains a balance between e-Commerce and the brick & mortar side of business, avoiding channel conflicts and keeping a close working relationship with account sales managers
- Identifies and develops a launch strategy for emerging e-Commerce customers; working with IT and Operations to verify all systems are aligned prior to launch.
- Develops online marketing plans in alignment with business priorities, sales goals, and budget to deliver target sales & profitability goals
- Knowledge of keyword research (discovery and expansion), using ad copy to grow and optimize the keywords portfolio through testing (A/B and Multivariate) ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, and negative keywording.
- Manages paid campaigns for e-Commerce customers, including strategy development, keyword research, campaign activation, budget management, optimization, reporting and analysis
- Ad copy development, review, and editing, maintaining consistent brand & product message. Review and analysis of web site performance metrics and optimization of campaigns
- Develops near and long-term PPC account strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion, and margins
- Reports on key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and developing portfolio recommendations.
- Manages day-to-day marketing activities across multiple comparison-shopping engines (CSEs), including bid/budget management, performance review and optimization of marketplace ad placement.
- Oversees the cost-effective management of search activity optimizing (SEO)
- Develops annual customer forecasts, collaborating with analyst to maintain product supply to customers
- Responsible for managing retail prices using MAP pricing, brand gating, and communications with vendor managers
- Upload, update & maintain all content onto customer sites
- Monitors reviews & questions on customer sites and works with customer service regularly to ensure responses are in alignment with Melnor marketing message
- Administers social media sites and be the voice of Melnor through regular postings and in answering questions; utilize site to drive traffic to customer sites
- Be on cutting edge of the latest trends and strategies in digital and online marketing and advertising through ongoing education and networking.

Qualifications:
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- 2+ years of experience managing paid search engine marketing campaigns at an online marketing agency or a leading e-retailer
- Proven track record of managing multiple accounts and projects concurrently
- Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis
- Hands-on knowledge and experience of best practices in SEM and a proven track record of delivering qualified traffic from both an acquisition and conversion standpoint
- Significant experience working with CSE’s
- Experience with behavioral targeting/remarketing campaigns
- Expertise in report generation in Adwords, Adcenter, Google Analytics and KPI analysis and reporting
- Ability to interpret campaign performance data into actionable insights for delivering best ROI
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with sales, marketing & IT departments
Work Environment:
- This position requires exposure to the warehouse, which requires employees to wear close toed shoes.
- The individual is exposed to a typical office environment with ambient room temperature, lighting, and traditional office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Individuals may be required to reach above shoulder height, below waist or lift as required to file documents or to reach for product throughout the workday; lifting will include up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques are required.
- Stress factors: High stress level at times, with changing priorities in work assignments.
Hours of Work: 40-hour work week with some overtime as needed. Some travel will be required.
