Inceptia is looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska!
What you’ll do!
The Product Manager works with business stakeholders and customers to determine how Inceptia can help drive value for school users by delivering innovative products and solutions to the marketplace. Working with the stakeholders and customers, this individual will help write user stories and plan the development including the prioritization, user acceptance testing and product documentation. The Product Manager will also heavily collaborate with the design and development team members to prioritize, plan and conceptualize implementing a holistic user experience.
The ideal candidate has Agile Scrum experience, has a thorough understanding of writing user stories and is familiar with creating and maintaining a strategic roadmap for delivery against business objectives set by the organization. The individual must be able to partner effectively across functions and gain alignment on development projects and product priorities. Further, the ideal candidate is a detailed/granular thinker, excels in uncertainty and change, loves innovation and has a knack for building relationships and implementing new ideas to generate growth.

What you’ll need!
- A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year College or university. A creative, self-directed product manager with a minimum of three years’ relevant experience and proven, measurable track record of success preferably in SAAS solutions or technology.
- Background in managing innovation efforts within organizations, including software development and enhancements, and providing technical support.
- An understanding of the Agile process and managing sprints. JIRA experience helpful but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for writing detailed specs and product documentation.
- Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Know-how to succeed in ambiguity.
- Tech-savvy and able to translate concepts into value driven outcomes.
- Passion for technology and providing exceptional experiences.
- Proven ability to partner effectively across functions and the ability to gain alignment on product decisions and priorities.
- Hybrid work preferred from our Lincoln, NE office location.
- Successful completion of a background investigation is required.
