Description
The Aviation Maintenance and Sustainment (AMS) Division of Leidos has openings for Aircraft Maintenance Site Lead located in El Paso TX. The job of the Site Lead is to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations. Additionally, the Lead will support the A&P Mechanics in maintaining aircraft in accordance with OEM specifications and FAA regulations. The Maintenance Site Lead reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform supervisory duties, to include making staffing/hiring decisions, managing employee performance, and facilitating employee professional development.
Perform the duties of the A&P Mechanic when required.
Manages facility staff associated task and scheduling.
Oversee day to day maintenance operations.
Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance operations.
Ensure proper tooling, equipment and parts are available during maintenance operations.
Submit daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
Ensure access to maintenance technical data and forms are available during maintenance operations.
Ensure on-site aircraft record retention requirements are followed and complete.
Advocate on behalf of team members and provides mentorship to employees.
Assure that quality and safety compliance guidelines and followed.
Collaborate with other team leaders, managers, and departments.
Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders as required.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen
Possess a current US civilian driver's license.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Hold a valid and current FAA A&P certification.
Successfully complete the DoT drug test to determine the presence of illegal or un-prescribed controlled substances.
Eligible for an appropriate security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Avionic systems.
Experience with Bombardier Global series aircraft or similar aircraft.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $75,400.00 - $116,000.00 - $156,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
