Description:
Global Technology and Operations seeks a senior Technical Project Manager to assist in the developing and supporting of a Transaction Reporting Regulatory Application across multiple jurisdictions and asset classes for OTC Derivatives and FX products. Experience in regulatory transaction reporting for CFTC, EMIR, or MiFID II is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with lead developers and team members to implement projects
- Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; build and maintain teams through talent acquisition.
- Set maturity objectives and provide individuals/teams with training and resources to achieve them.
- Set and track quality and performance objectives.
- Facilitate performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills.
- Understand individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback.
- Manage relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products.
- Be accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams (for example, prioritizing tech debt, compliance, and security items, and supporting audits).
- ?Be accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices, and standards are met.
- ?Be accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews).
- Create the technology strategy for their technical domain.
- Ensure that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Create an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
- Lead and create followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- 12+ years of Technical Project Management experience in software development
- Ability to track program and multiple value stream variances in order to ensure work aligns with program objectives.
- Identifies risk/dependencies and quantifies the impact it has on the business/technology and what controls are to be used to resolve.
- Facilitates program/portfolio level planning ceremonies against backlog/ prioritized work. Manages risk/dependencies/impediments. Ability to answer program/portfolio level Agile/waterfall framework questions.
- Sets agenda and defines the artifacts needed for governance forums. Collects feedback from customers and stakeholders to measure the effectiveness of stakeholder management.
- Drives adoption and continually improves processes in the solution delivery process across teams
- Strong knowledge of products and services at functional and data level within their business area. Participates in development or integration of lean / efficiency initiatives into technology.
- Excellent written & oral communication skills
- Agile development life-cycle experience with a strong knowledge of SDLC
- Ability to problem solve, apply reason, take initiative, use judgment, and perform multiple concurrent tasks
- Ability to prioritize, adjust, and push for completion of multiple tasks in a fast-paced organization
Desirable Skills:
- Good working experience with OTC derivative products and/or other financial products
- Supports the delivery of branded, accessible design solutions. Understands and can comply with design, brand and accessibility standards.
