We at Robert Half need a Help Desk Analyst, who will be supporting local and field users in a growing company. As a Help Desk Analyst, you will be a creative problem solver who enjoys working in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment. Due to this Help Desk Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Help Desk Analyst opportunity is a long-term contract / temporary role.

Major responsibilities

- Provide IT assistance for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other software applications used internally

- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues

- Solve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups

- Pinpoint recurring technical issues and present solutions to address the root of the problems

Requirements

- Comprehension of basic networking concepts

- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively

- Networking experience

- Background working with Provide Technical Support

- Training experience

- Good understanding of Remedy

- Adeptness in Deskside Support

- Demonstrated knowledge of CRM

- Diagnose Problems experience highly preferred

- Previous experience working with EO/IR systems

- Practical knowledge of Computer Hardware

- Communication Skills experience highly desired

- Technical Support experience preferred

- General familiarity with Operating System

- Earlier work involving Direct Supervision

- Troubleshoot experience

- Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- User administration and bug fixing in a client-server environment

- IT support ticketing system experience desired
