Robert Half is looking for a Data Analyst to join our client! The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design, as well as developing analysis and reporting capabilities. You will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Your responsibilities in this role
- Own the maintenance of databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy
- Assemble data recording systems and business analysis for the department to use
- Assemble business reports that provide insight into key data points
- Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends
- Regularly examine data reports to identify and resolve mistakes throughout
- Help other departments reach their goals by providing analysis
- Collect data and perform accurate analysis for various types of business reports
- Communicate findings of data analysis to managers, written and verbally
Requirements
- Strong critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports
- Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools
- Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results
- Skilled in time management and prioritization to meet project deadlines
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a report writer or business analyst
- Experience with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers
