As an Emery Jensen Distribution Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of marketing and promotional materials, employee and customer facing presentations, and creating content for internal and customer facing emails.
What you'll do
Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Merchandising team to create promotional materials using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Responsible for customer and employee facing emails regarding promotional materials and education
Maintain promotional assets on print catalog for Sales team
Provides graphic design support for internal and external constituents
Manage Marketing projects when assigned to ensure deadlines are met
Proof collateral to ensure pieces are free of spelling and grammar errors, as well as alignment with brand look and feel
What you need to succeed
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices & procedures for marketing
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing or related field
3-5 years of experience in the advertising field, preferably within creative development team at an agency or on the client side
An ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, through presentations, media interviews, one-on-one, meetings, e-mails and other correspondence with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
Ability to provide feedback and direction to and collaborate with cross-functional partners
Demonstrated ability to manage a multitude of projects at any one given time, while being able to work with a team and meet respective deadlines
Thorough proofing skills required
Expertise in graphic design programs, retail and/or hardware experience is a plus.
Have the ability to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately.
May require knowledge of or ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work assignments such as WordPress. Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations. Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.
Must be versed on Windows and industry standard applications:
InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop; with a working knowledge of Office applications: PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Wordpress,
Positive, motivated, collaborative team player. Strong listening skills.
Comfortability in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and willing to adapt to business partner / position needs.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, solve problems and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, meticulous, and extremely organized self-starter who is able to thrive in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to work autonomously and accomplish objectives.
