What We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced IT professional services expert to lead our Digital Solutions practice and be at the forefront of our software engineering teams, carving out solutions, winning fun opportunities, and driving these solutions to reality with strong team support. Exercise your experience directly with our clients to determine the right solutions, identify design patterns, and advise developers throughout the solution lifecycle using Agile methodologies.
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker, we’d like to meet you.
Position Overview
As the Senior Vice President of Digital Solutions - Web/Mobile Application Development, you will play a crucial role in driving our technical strategy, leading our development teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of web and mobile projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, managing client relationships, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the organization. This is a senior leadership position that requires a deep understanding of web and mobile technologies, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to inspire and mentor a talented team of professionals.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms and will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering exceptional results.
Key Attributes
You must have recent experience working for an IT consulting firm running a digital solutions software development practice with a P&L above $4M and staff under the management of 50+ staff members.
You should possess practical experience with digital transformation, web/mobile solutions development, enterprise integration, security, and building/migrating large applications and data sets to and from the cloud.
From a technology perspective, you should be able to comprehend and articulate the latest architecture and technology trends, technical concepts, and architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences.
We believe an ideal candidate has extensive experience working with functional business owners to deliver critical platforms, a strong understanding of Big Data and Analytics, Enterprise Data, experience guiding delivery teams in the implementation of quality software solutions, and exceptional communication skills.

Role Responsibilities
P&L Management:
- Assume overall financial responsibility for the digital solutions practice, including revenue targets, profitability, and cost control.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and optimize profitability.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Staff Management:
- Lead and manage a team of digital solutions professionals, including developers, project managers, and technical experts.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent, ensuring the team has the necessary skills and capabilities to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and development.
Practice Development:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the digital solutions practice, in alignment with the overall organizational goals.
- Explore new business opportunities, assess feasibility, and develop go-to-market strategies to expand the practice's client base.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create compelling collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content to promote the practice.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction and technical expertise in web and mobile development, keeping abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Define and execute the company's technical roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and client requirements.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of web and mobile projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their business needs and goals.
- Actively engage in business development activities, including identifying new opportunities, participating in client presentations, and leading proposal development.
Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and inspire a high-performing team of web and mobile developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enabling their professional growth and development.
- Establish and enforce best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies to ensure consistency and quality.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, application development, and micro-services
- 5+ years in Azure and/or AWS technologies. Experience architecting and deploying solutions from an infrastructure, security, and application development perspective.
- 3+ years of experience architecting AI /ML solutions
- 5+ years in cloud modernization solutions including greenfield development projects.
- Experience leading the execution of highly technical engagements including building Proof of Concepts, re-engineering applications, and delivery.
- Hands-on experience managing an IT consulting practice.
- Excellent knowledge of software development methodologies, cloud-native application architecture (e.g., PaaS, Serverless, API Management), mobile and DevOps processes
- Thorough understanding of relational database design.
- Ability to work both autonomously as well as on a team.
- Significant experience with client-side web development (Angular, React, Vue)
- Significant experience with server-side development (Java, C#, .NET)
