About the Role
Compliance Engineering is looking for Senior Staff Engineer to technically lead the Payment Compliance Engineering and Platform team in Bangalore & Hyderabad.
It is a high impact role which will require working with multiple stakeholders across regions to build a platform ensuring every entity and money movement on Uber Platform is compliant in accordance with the regional regulations. In terms of scale on an average we do 26M decisions per day which decide whether a partner can go online or money can be disbursed.

We are looking for experienced smart engineers who are passionate about the domain and the technology. Those who have track record of ownership, execution quality and customer obsession.
- Bachelor's / Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- Experience coding using general purpose programming language (eg. C/C++, Java, Python, Go)
- Provide technical leadership to a team with multiple product initiatives
- Built and created platforms

- Experience in Go Programming Language
- Experience in building large scale, mission critical systems with high RPS
- Experience in providing technical leadership to multiple products and charters
