What you get to do every day
- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Offer computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions
Requirements
- General familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites
- Proficiency in Network Switches
- Expertise in Router Switches
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with Firewall administration
- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Exchange
- Command of Microsoft Azure
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit
- Practical knowledge of Hardware Troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of switches
- Solid understanding of FortiManager
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet Firewalls
- Quality experience with Microsoft Server
- Good understanding of Microsoft Teams
- Microsoft experience desired
- Skills in Microsoft technology stack
- Proven knowledge of Firewall Technologies
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Technologies
- Comprehension of Microsoft Office 365
- Foundational knowledge in Firewall
- Earlier work involving Microsoft SCCM
- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Microsoft Certified Professional experience
- Well-founded grasp of Basic Troubleshooting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Prior experience with Fortinet Firewalls
- General familiarity with Basic Network Troubleshooting
- Wide ranging experience with Microsoft Server OS
- Experience with Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Desktop support or related experience
