The Technology Development Group is seeking a software engineer to help define and implement user experience paradigms for various compute environments across our platforms. This engineer will help architect and build the foundation of novel user experiences. Being successful in this area will result in a delightful experience for all users of our products. Key Qualifications

We are a team of architects and specialists who are looking for an individual to help build backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in addition to an interest in creating foundational frameworks and APIs. You should be comfortable participating in architecture discussions, taking ownership of specific problem areas, articulating design choices, and delivering highly optimized code in performance-critical environments.
In this role you will be collaborating with various teams including device, security, privacy and other teams across Apple, in addition to driving technical architecture and engineering. You will also interact with quality assurance engineers to ensure the right test plans and user scenarios are implemented. You will be responsible for development, testing, performance optimization, and overall quality of the software you develop. You will have the opportunity to explore and contribute to a wide range of the latest technologies
Education & Experience
Education & ExperienceBS or MS in Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field, equivalent practical experience will be considered.

Pay & Benefits
Pay & Benefits- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,500 and $250,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
