FUEL Brand Designer - Freelance
FUEL Brand Designers develop compelling and cohesive visual design systems that effectively communicate the brand's essence and brand strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of branding principles, exceptional design skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring brands to life. Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
Expectations

Conceptualize and design brand visual assets, including logos, typography, color palettes, photography style, iconography, patterns, and other brand elements
- Understands and appreciates the relationship between brand strategy and brand design; collaborates and communicates well with brand strategists
- Develops thoughtful brand governance and robust brand guidelines
- Designs engaging and user-centered brand experiences for websites, mobile apps, and social platforms; collaborates well with strategists, user experience designers, copywriters, and programmers
- Creates digital design systems and produces design specifications for websites
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate approach, rationale, and design thinking
- Presents confidently, persuasively, and professionally to clients and internal teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in design execution
- Completes projects on deadline and on budget
Qualifications

A four-year degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven work experience as a Brand Designer or similar role
- A strong portfolio showcasing creative and impactful brand design case studies
- Expertise in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign applications and other relevant design tools
- Expertise in Sketch or Figma web design applications. InVision is a plus
