We seek an experienced Social Media Manager responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong social media presence for food-based accounts. Your main objective will be to enhance brand recognition and engagement through the effective utilization of social media platforms for one or more accounts managed by our ad agency client. For this role, there will only be consideration of SANTA BARBARA LOCAL TALENT.
The ideal candidate should possess at least five years of experience in developing strategic content plans, including in-feed posts, advertisements, engagement initiatives, and influencer partnerships, as well as overall management of social media accounts and paid campaigns.
● Proficient in managing professional social media accounts for brands.
● Skilled in reporting and analyzing key metrics such as engagement rates, reach, and website traffic objectives.
● Familiarity with at least one paid social media platform.
Expected Experience: 3-5 years
● Supervise the day-to-day management of assigned social media accounts.
● Formulate and execute social media brand strategies and campaign plans to achieve client objectives.
● Determine the most significant social media key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for each assigned account.
● Evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and provide recommendations for enhancing performance.
● Establish, nurture, and expand social networks on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and TikTok.
● Plan and oversee paid social media campaigns.
● Develop and manage influencer marketing initiatives.
● Create comprehensive and inspiring creative briefs for internal teams.
● Generate compelling written and visual content for social media channels and blogs.
● Research emerging media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and management platforms/applications.
● Collaborate with other team members, departments, and clients, including creative, media, and account services.
● Lead and actively participate in integrated brainstorming sessions and incorporate ideas into content plans.
● Present content strategy plans and innovative proposals to clients, effectively communicating new concepts and ideas.
