The Leidos Civil group is seeking an EOSH Safety Supervisor to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) program, providing support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Designated Agency Safety and Health Official (DASHO) Support Group AJW-25 by providing professional technical and supervisory expertise to assist the organization with the implementation, execution, management, facilitation, scheduling, sampling and testing, identification, preparation, and training to achieve the goals and objects of the designated program areas. Programs include: Regional Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Resource (ROSHER) Program; Employee Compensation Operations and Management Portal (ECOMP); and, Designated Agency Safety and Health Official (DASHO) support group award program. This position is 100% remote with up to 25% travel. Candidate may be located in anywhere in the United States.

Primary Responsibilities
Provide supervision for a team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments, ensuring work requested under the task order is performed properly and, within the prescribed time and budget constraints negotiated between the Contractor and the Government.
Direct supervision of personnel including, hiring, promotion, and termination authority within areas of responsibility, in conjunction with senior manager review and approval.
Provide time card management and guidance for assigned staff.
Maintain frequent interface and communication with manager, FAA personnel, and other contractor personnel.
Oversee multiple projects, tasks and deadlines through to completion. Work in a fast-paced team environment.
Effectively communicate in written and verbal form. Provide well-organized documentation.
The scope of EOSH support includes:
EOSH SME assistance, program implementation and management, compliance and mitigation of workplace hazards and the Regional/Center Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental. Compliance Committees (OSHECCOM).
Responding to emergency situations associated EOSH.
Creating written OSH programs and standard operating procedures.
AJW-25 OSH programs and efforts which include, but are not limited to, EOSH related training, emergency action plans, OSHECCOM, Hearing conservation, Occupational Medicine and Record keeping, Radiation Safety, Emergency Preparedness, Occupational Safety and Health Points of Contact program, radon, ECOMP.
Performing and overseeing site visits and creating and submitting accurate trip reports.
Reviewing and critiquing documents. Compare to federal, state, and local regulations, including consensus standards where applicable.
Drafting policy and guidance documents
Arranging and attending meetings and telecons with stakeholders. Prepare agendas, documents, and other items to support these functions.
Basic Qualifications
Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field from a 4-year accredited College/University with 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Environmental Occupational Health and Safety laws, regulations, practices, and protocols.
Prior supervisory experience with multiple personnel and projects.
Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Managing multiple projects concurrently.
Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs and completing physically demanding tasks.
Requires approximately 25% travel.
Exhibit excellent communication skills to be used in responding to technical questions and performing program presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous work experience for/with the FAA is highly preferred.
Prior work experience with US government managers, employees and programs.
Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00
