Description
The Leidos Civil Group is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist Supervisor to join the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team. FAA Enterprise Configuration Management office, AJW-181, with configuration control expertise and program coordination. The Contractor must provide National Airspace System (NAS) Change Proposal (NCP) support of the Workflow tool, CM Automation Help Desk, database management support, CMA transition and training support, and provide core Configuration Management (CM) support. This position is 100% remote with up to 10% travel. Candidate may be located in anywhere in the United States.
*Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of public trust. Public Trust requires US Citizenship.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide supervision for a team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their assignments, ensuring work requested under the task order is performed properly and within the prescribed time and budget constraints negotiated between the Contractor and the Government.
Direct supervision of personnel including, hiring, promotion, and termination authority within areas of responsibility, in conjunction with senior manager review and approval.
Provide time card management and guidance for assigned staff.
Maintain frequent interface and communication with manager, FAA personnel, and other contractor personnel.
Effectively communicate in written and verbal form. Provide well-organized documentation.
Provide analysis and recommendations for all CM Problem Reports.
Evaluate all requirements in regard to FAA CM Policy and Process impacts.
Provide suggestions on how to improve operational efficiency and provide process improvements for helpdesk operations.
Assign and coordinate technical and administrative activities of Contractor and subcontractor employees to meet FAA AJW-181 program goals.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires BS degree and 12 - 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 - 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple FAA organizations.
Knowledge of the AMS Life Cycle Management Process.
Prior supervisory experience with multiple personnel and projects.
Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Managing multiple projects concurrently.
Requires approximately 10% travel.
Exhibit excellent communication skills to be used in responding to technical questions and performing program presentations.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $105,300.00 - $162,000.00 - $218,700.00
