We are looking for a motivated person with good work ethics to join an established Arcade Game Manufacturing Company and our Engineering Team to assist in prototyping game hardware, integration, and design.
You will be responsible for translating engineering documents into a physical “Prototype/Preproduction Game”, insuring manufacturability, testability, serviceability, and usability.
In order to perform these functions, you should have the following skill set:
*Be able to read/correct wiring diagrams/Bills Of Materials and translate them into a physical embodiment that can be readily manufactured and easily field serviced. Including the ability to develop wiring harnesses and establish logical layout of control/display components necessary for Arcade type games.
*Communicate with Team Members on electrical/mechanical/esthetic issues that affect the Game’s performance, and offer suggestions/solutions to enhance its intrinsic value.
*Understand external operational electrical/mechanical influences on these Games, and have the knowledge and ability to mitigate those influences in the design.
*Able to setup and use oscilloscopes, pattern generators, volt/amp meters, power supplies, video displays/cameras, game stimulators/simulators, and logic analyzers.
*Develop test fixture for game components/subsystems, and work with Programming Personnel to create logical flows for pass/fail lab testing.
*Train Manufacturing Personnel on proper assembly and test procedures relative to the new Games being developed to manufacture in house.
*Provide assistance to QA Personnel for the determination of acceptable performance goals.
*Educate Support Technicians in the repair and servicing of newly developed Games.
*Knowledge of ETL/UL requirements regarding appliances and consumer electrical devices.
*Ability to communicate with ETL/UL personnel in gaining approval for games under these standards.
SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE
