Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Graphic Designer to develop and deploy graphic design products in alignment with the Defense Accounting and Finance Service’s (DFAS) enterprise-level strategic communication plan.

To be successful as a Senior Graphic Designer, you should have extensive knowledge of graphic design styles and techniques and you should have experience in implementing marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will ensure the design team products promote the vision of the organization through high-quality graphic content.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

· Perform independent inquiry, analysis, and decision support and advice to senior management on complex financial or accounting concepts.

· Provide advice and feedback to direct management.

· Perform marketing, brand imaging, and public relations activities.

· Develop and deploy enterprise level strategic communication plans with intentional messaging for targeted stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the organization.

· Provide clear, common language messaging for highly complex financial and accounting concepts.

· Produce work products that are accurate, professional in appearance, and free of any typographical, grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have the equivalent of 4 years of direct or relevant industry experience and the following skill specific related experience:

· A minimum of 1 year performing independent inquiry, analysis, and decision support and advice to senior management levels on complex financial or accounting concepts.

· A minimum of 1 year of Department of Defense finance or accounting experience.

· A minimum of 1 year providing support to executive levels.

· A minimum of 1 year marketing/brand image, public relations consulting experience.

· Experience developing and deploying enterprise level strategic communication plans with intentional messaging for targeted stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the organization.

· Ability to provide clear, common language messaging for highly complex financial and accounting concepts

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field

Location:

This position will be performed remotely from the contiguous United States (CONUS) with the understanding you will work hours corresponding with the Eastern Time Zone to facilitate working the same hours as the rest of the team.

If on-site services are required, the contractor shall be available to provide services at the following DFAS sites:

· DFAS Indianapolis, 8899 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46249

· DFAS Mark Center, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Suite 08J25-01, Alexandria, VA 22350-3000

· DFAS reserves the right to request services at additional DFAS sites as needed.
