QuesTek Innovations LLC, located in Evanston, IL, is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer for frontend development to join our team. As a frontend developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based SaaS platform, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly functional. You will collaborate with our cross-functional teams, including backend developers and scientific software developers, to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, responsive web applications using modern frontend technologies, including ReactJS and TypeScript.
Collaborate with scientific software developers to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into fully functional web applications.
Implement and maintain frontend architectures, ensuring scalability and performance optimization.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the highest level of quality and usability.
Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend trends, technologies, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven experience as a frontend developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of web development projects.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and frontend build tools (e.g., Vite).
Knowledge of web accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Bonus Skills:

Experience with serverless architecture and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
