Marketing.Storage is a growing digital marketing agency focused on the rapidly growing self-storage industry. We were started by a couple of storage industry veterans who helped grow one of the largest storage brands in the world from 180 locations to 1,800 locations.

We’re a remote team of nerds that love to do great marketing work and nurture lasting partnerships with our clients.

We’re looking for a hungry, aspiring digital marketer to come help us manage our internal processes and projects, participate in marketing projects for our 40+ clients, learn our secret sauce, and help us continue to grow.

The role is part-time initially (20 hours per week), but with the intended outcome of growing into a full-time position. You will walk out of here, after working with us for a year-plus, and be a cut above the average digital marketer with a foothold in a resilient and growing industry.

Role Responsibilities:

- Oversee task implementation and definition in our task management system, Monday.com, based on our strategic roadmap and collaborative meetings with clients.

- Help manage deadlines with fulfillment tasks and communicating with remote teams both in the U.S. and international

- Help us keep Monday.com organized and look for opportunities to improve our processes for increased efficiency and reliability of the team's performance

- Set up standard fulfillment infrastructure for new clients (task management, reporting, internal communication channels, etc.)

- Assist with outreach and follow-up to clients in setting up new accounts or linking to existing accounts in relevant marketing platforms (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console, Google Business Profile, and occasionally Facebook Business Manager, Microsoft Ads)

- Help secure website login access from clients, where relevant

- When needed, communicate directly with clients via email to secure access to assets needed for fulfillment of marketing services (image files, brand asset files, etc.)

- Implement content updates on client websites (when direct access is given) or submit content updates via website provider's support and follow up until implementation is complete (when direct access is not given)

- Help implement content and updates to clients' Google Business Profiles

- Assume primary management of our monthly client meeting calendar

- Analyze monthly reports and provide notes to send with monthly reports to your assigned clients

- Meet virtually throughout the week to sync with the Head of Fulfillment

- Learn how to do SEO, PPC, and other aspects of digital marketing for local businesses. We will teach you a lot, but expect you to take ownership of your skill development, too.

The Ideal Person:

- Is detail-oriented and thorough

- Has experience managing projects to completion with a high standard of quality

- Is a trustworthy self-starter: we work remotely with a culture of high-trust & high-performance

- Learns quickly, isn't afraid to ask questions, is coachable and accepts feedback, and adapts to change well

- Has good people skills and is comfortable communicating directly with clients via email and video calls

- Is familiar with the culture of digital marketing, agencies, and tech teams

- Is friendly, cares about team unity, and avoids workplace politics and drama

- Is fluent in English

Compensation:

- Varies based on experience

- Flat monthly compensation (20 hours per week)

- Must have reliable computer, workspace, and Internet access
