You can set technical direction for projects and mentor less-experienced developers on the team. You are technology agnostic and able to apply the correct technology stack to meet the challenge at hand. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to dissect complex problems and devise elegant, efficient, and scalable solutions. In addition to your technical prowess, you excel in collaborative settings, communicating complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

At least 5 years of software development experience, focusing on NodeJS development.
Demonstrable expertise in modern NodeJS frameworks such as Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
At least five years of experience refactoring existing NodeJS applications from callbacks and promises chains to async/await style code.
Some experience working with popular front-end frameworks such as AngularJS, ReactJS, and other related technologies.

Nice to Have:

Background in aerospace with experience in a regulated environment preferred.
Ability to work on-site within the Seattle-Tacoma metropolitan area.
Formal training in computer science, web development, or related field preferred.
Proficient in working with Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu, CentOS, and other related distributions.

For this position, Collinear offers a salary range of $140,000 to $163,000 (DOE) with bonus and profit sharing programs, health insurance, HSA contributions, a 401(k) program with company contributions, nine paid holidays, 15 days of PTO accrued per year, non-prescribed amount of sick leave, flexible schedules and remote working capabilities, and multiple company-sponsored employee events - all in support of creating an employee-focused company.
