AvaDent is a growing Digital Denture technology and manufacturing company expanding its software engineering team. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work with our engineering team in Boulder, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be located in or near Boulder, Colorado for the first 2 years of employment for training purposes and has at least 4 years of engineering management experience. We may be able to consider a remote candidate depending on experience. You will work as a Senior Software Engineer for 1-2 years and transition into management of projects and programs.

Required Skills:

Engineering

· Strong knowledge of 3D geometry: triangle, tetrahedral tessellations/meshes

· Strong knowledge of 3D transformations: rigid body/deformable bodies

· Programming of 3D discretized surfaces

Software

· 3-4 Years Programming skills in strongly typed languages: C#, C, C++

Desired Skills:

Engineering

· CAD/CAM background

· Finite element background

· Structural mechanics: mechanical, aerospace, etc.

· Programming of 3D graphics

Software

· Programming in C#

· Use of software tied to database: MS SQL

· UI programming: Windows, WPF, OpenGL

· Programming in higher level languages: IDL/Matlab/equivalents

Management

· Small group management (< 10 persons)
